The basic game loop
After making a character creator during a Synty Jam, I have integrated it with a proto game that I was working on and added four modular controllers. The old player controller was the sword and shield one. The other controllers just grafted from the enemies while I finish making the whole system modular for networking. I have to finish the enemy ai and design first. There are controls for dodge. block, parry, heavy, combo, and normal attack but basically WASD and left mouse and up timed well will get you there until the enemy ai and tutorial is in. Expect to see the controllers tidied next and the animation more fitting for the player on some of the controllers, also I have 5 directional attacks to expand to 8d attacks and blocks and parries cutscene next then ai or vice versa. The systems are only half implemented e.g., stats and effects, but check out the early game anyway. Lots of updates will follow until it's ready to demo properly. I couldn't have submitted this environment to the synty jam even if I had longer as I'd already made the scene, but the controllers would have been fine. The game starts bad in webgl, probably not cached, but settles quickly, try reset button which takes you back to the start of the round. One life for you, two for the enemy. Use the bottom right full screen button. Thank you.
